Pet owners add their own records from a QR code on your counter. Your staff verifies them with one tap. VaxCheck reminds owners before anything expires and shows your front desk a simple red / amber / green list at check-in.
You stop being the person who tracks down paperwork. The owner does the typing, VaxCheck sends the reminders, and you just tap "verified".
Print the QR code from your dashboard, or text owners your intake link. Scanning opens a two-minute form on their phone.
Pet name, vaccine dates and a photo of the certificate. It lands in your dashboard marked "needs verification".
30 and 7 days before each vaccine expires — and again if it lapses — the owner gets an email (on Pro, a text too, with their opt-in) with a one-tap upload link.
Search by owner or pet name. Green means current, amber means expiring soon, red means expired — ask for a new certificate. That's the whole interface.
Reminders go out automatically at 30 days, 7 days and on expiry. Each one includes a private link so the owner can upload the new certificate from their phone without calling you.
Many cities and insurers expect you to have proof of rabies vaccination on file. VaxCheck keeps every certificate photo, verification and reminder with the date it happened, so you can show what was on file and when.

"Is Moose's rabies current?" used to mean a phone call, a voicemail, and a dog waiting in the lobby. We wanted it to mean looking at a color.
No. VaxCheck is standalone. Keep Square, Acuity, a paper book — anything. There is nothing to integrate; VaxCheck only handles vaccine records and reminders.
Storing the date and chasing the owner are different jobs. VaxCheck is for shops whose software records the date but doesn't remind anyone, or who don't want to pay for a full suite to get this one feature.
Pet owners, through your QR code or intake link. Each record shows up as "needs verification" until you check it against the certificate photo and tap verify.
In a private storage bucket on our hosting provider (Supabase), encrypted at rest. Only your logged-in account can open them. Owners get a private upload link and can never see other pets.
